A leaked Government report has revealed a radical new policy to close down fast-food outlets. These will include all outlets selling: Burgers, Pizzas, Fried Chicken, Kebabs & Chips.

The report leaked by an unknown source reads as follows.
Scientific evidence can no longer be ignored regarding the damage that fast-foods are doing to the youth of our population. This will have various severe consequences to society in the future:
If the current trend continues the National Health Service will collapse because it cannot cope with the amount of people needing treatment for diseases related to obesity.
If the current trend continues the Welfare State will collapse because it cannot cope with claims from people who are too overweight to work.
If the current trend continues the life expectancy of the next generation will be severely reduced.
In view of the overwhelming scientific evidence the Government has realised the need to make fast-foods illegal. All restaurants selling unhealthy food will either have to close or make radical changes in their menus. Plans are in place to bring this law in by 1st June 2010.

What you have just read is of course pure fantasy. That’s right, I just made it all up, it’s a big fat lie. So why would I do that to you? Well I was hoping that as you were reading it those of you who enjoy the odd burger and chips were getting a bit angry about it and saying ‘Hey, how dare they tell me I can’t eat my favourite foods’. The question is, if it were true would you just accept it or would you have a go at the Government for telling you what you can or can’t eat? You would, WOW!!

If you’re the person who would just accept it then you can stop reading now but if you’re the person who would try to do something about it then I’ve got one question for you… Why don’t you feel just as angry about the prohibition of cannabis?

the Government have told lies about cannabis, lies about Iraq - personally I would not believe a word any of them say - so a statement from them containing as much truth as your post is unlikely

In all honesty chris, i would have no problem with them closing down the likes of Mcdonalds, KFC, Subway.

I much prefer food from local shops who produce good quality food at a decent price, which 9/10 times is cheaper and better for you than the fast food that is about today.

Now, when it comes to legalising cannabis, the dealers on the streets are your subways/mcdonalds/kfc, selling adulterated goods which may cause harm to the individual taking it.... therefore, its only right that we should legally be able to choose between fast ganja or proper ganja.....just a pity it aint that easy.
